Supercoppa line-ups: Juventus v Napoli

Juan Cuadrado is rushed back into the starting XI after recovering from COVID-19, helping a decimated Juventus defence with Dejan Kulusevski upfront, while Napoli look to Chucky Lozano, Lorenzo Insigne and Andrea Petagna.

The Supercoppa Italiana kicks off at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia at 20.00 GMT.

Juve are coming off a painful 2-0 defeat to Inter in Serie A and are forced to do without Paulo Dybala, Merih Demiral, Matthijs de Ligt and Alex Sandro.

Cuadrado had also been ruled out, but he recovered from COVID and was rushed through a medical this morning, travelling to Reggio Emilia in the afternoon and thrown straight into the starting XI.

This shuffles Danilo over to left-back, but there’s another change on the wings.

Federico Chiesa is switched to the left, so he can counter Lozano, with Weston McKennie guarding Lorenzo Insigne on the right.

Kulusevski is preferred to Paulo Dybala as the partner for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Napoli are fresh from a 6-0 demolition of Fiorentina and remain relatively unchanged, with Giovanni Di Lorenzo available again after suspension.

Petagna and Dries Mertens are both not quite at 100 per cent, with Victor Osimhen and Fabian Ruiz suffering from COVID, but Petagna is passed fit to start following a knock.

Lorenzo Insigne, Lozano and Piotr Zielinski fan out behind, with Diego Demme alongside Tiemoue Bakayoko in midfield.
