TA: Sage to remain Crystal Palace manager, club has no immediate plans for managerial change

Despite the heavy defeat to Brighton, Pierre Sage will remain as Crystal Palace manager for now. According to The Athletic, the English club has no immediate plans to change managers and is prepared to give the French coach time to turn things around.

Whether Sage continues to retain the club's trust will depend on the results of the upcoming matches. Chairman Steve Parish is ready to act if no improvement is seen, and another loss in Turkey on Thursday could accelerate discussions among club officials.

Sage will also communicate with the sporting department to analyze defensive issues. Crystal Palace is currently further hampered by injuries to Chadi Riad and Takehiro Tomiyasu, as well as Axel Disasi's suspension. Sage took over from Frank Glasner in June, and after the loss to Brighton, he admitted he didn't know if he could turn things around. For now, Crystal Palace still prefers stability, but the upcoming games will determine the future of the 47-year-old coach.
