Christmas is just four days away and football clubs are looking at how they can treat themselves in the upcoming January transfer window.
As injuries wrack up and a packed fixture list begins to take its toll, a number of Premier League sides are assessing whether their ranks have the necessary depth to challenge in the second-half of the season.
Manchester United could be busy - in terms of outgoings - while the future of Ivan Toney is likely to be one of the biggest talking points, after a Brentford chief admitted that the Arsenal target could move 'very shortly'.
Other clubs such as Newcastle - who have been decimated by injuries - might opt to fill holes in their squad come January.

United are just right in their new approach to players signing & wages. Sancho if not moved in January, just terminate his contract & put an end to this saga. Message should be loud n clear, it will be the players & not the coach. United have got almost 5 managers in 7 years so no point in sacking one yet. If we can get good deal for Casemiro & Varane in Jan transfer window, we should go ahead with it. VDB finally will depart ,sigh of relief. The other players who should move out are Martial & Antony. Go for young players. Todibo, Onana,Guehi all are good prospect. Team against WHU should be Onana,AWB, Evans, Varane,Shaw,Amrabat,Mainoo,Pellistri,Bruno,Garnacho & Hojlund. Subs Eriksen, Amad,Antony, Rashford & Mjebri.
