Ten Hag admits doubts about Bruno Fernandes for Tottenham clash

Tottenham news: Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes was a major doubt for his side's Premier League clash with Spurs on Thursday through injury

Bruno Fernandes has been spotted with the travelling Manchester United squad heading to London for their Premier League clash with Tottenham tonight (Thursday).

There was concern regarding the Portugal international's availability for the game after he was subbed off in the FA Cup semi-final win over Brighton. Following his withdrawal he was spotted with ice strapped to his ankle, with Fernandes' wife posting an Instagram story at the beginning of the week showing his left foot was in a boot with crutches laid beside him.

Erik ten Hag confirmed Fernandes was a doubt for the game in his press conference on Wednesday when he said: "We have to see how Bruno Fernandes is, we don't know yet. He is a question mark." A matchday squad involvement now looks to be the bare minimum for the United skipper as he was pictured with the travelling contingent.
