Ten Hag is 'confident he will NOT be SACKED before meeting new leadership team'

Erik ten Hag is reportedly confident that he will have a chance to impress Manchester United's incoming hierarchy under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The beleagured Dutchman is anticipating the chance to present his plan for the future, including a summer squad overhaul, according to The Sun.

That's despite incoming investor Ratcliffe reportedly holding talks with ex-Brighton and Chelsea manager Graham Potter.

Ratcliffe's protracted £1.25billion investment has been delayed by 'legal structural' matters and Mail Sport understands that his 25 per cent stake will be ratified next week.

Ten Hag's position has come under razor-sharp scrutiny following a 3-0 defeat by Bournemouth at Old Trafford and their whimpering exit from Europe at the hands of Bayern Munich.

United have lost more games than they have won this season but experienced a mini-revival in November, rising to sixth in the Premier League, and Ten Hag was awarded Manager of the Month.

He is safe for now and there is little appetite among the current hierarcy to sack him but results must improve.
