The Champions League loses its top scorer: Haaland out until 2021

Borussia Dortmund have suffered a massive blow with the news that the Champions League's top scorer, Erling Haaland, will miss the game against Lazio and not return until the new year.

The Norwegian striker suffered a hamstring injury in training, so will not be able to add to his tally of six goals in the group stage.

Haaland has scored in every Champions League game so far this season, and he has a total career record of 16 goals in 12 games in the competition.
