Lionel Messi's impact on football is eternal, and one of the most famous moments of his career was his last-minute El Clasico winner in 2017.
That strike was the 500th of his career, and he celebrated it by removing his Barcelona shirt and holding it up to the Real Madrid supporters.
Messi's shirt was recently put up for sale in a social media auction created by 'anishfutbol', who owned the shirt and wrote the following caption on Instagram.
"It has arrived in my collection... THAT shirt which Leo [Messi] held up after deciding El Clasico with his 500th goal," he wrote.
"The holiest of Holy Grails."
How much did the shirt sell for?
Understandably, there was huge demand for the Argentine's shirt, and it was soon sold for 450,000 dollars.
