Jorgelina Cardoso, the wife of Paris Saint-Germain's Angel di Maria, has shared a message that the couple's daughters sent to the player following Sunday night's loss in the Champions League final.
The player's daughters promised to give him even more kisses and hugs than he received when he won the tournament with Real Madrid back in 2013/14.
"Dad, you make us proud," the older daughter started.
"Coming second is also important.
"We love you so much and, when you come back, we'll give you even more kisses and hugs and affection than the time when you won it.
"You're our source of pride."
The younger daughter then also joined in.
"You're our source of pride," she repeated.
"It doesn't matter.
"We love you."
