The winter transfer market is approaching and Jese Rodriguez is counting down the days as he looks to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
It looked like he'd be on his way to Nantes in the summer, but the operation didn't come to fruition in the end and he had to remain in Paris, aware he wouldn't enter into Thomas Tuchel's plans.
Now, he is as prepared to play as ever, say those who know him best.
The 25-year-old has changed his habits and his company as he tries to regain form.
He has hired a trainer to work on his fitness and his nutrition, with PSG playing a role in this as the Spaniard has returned to peak condition.
The Canary Islander is looker sharper than ever and was even congratulated on his condition in front of the squad by Tuchel.
"I have spent months working to be able to be what I was... or to be even better," he told MARCA.
His desire now is to return to Spain and there are a few LaLiga Santander teams considering making a move for the new Jese.

What a shame! Jese is a potential and good striker. Hope this is a loan contract rather than a transfer contract!

Good solution. PSG has so many good strikers. Jese is hard to compete with them.
