Real Betis are taking on Club Atletico Antoniano in the Copa del Rey this Thursday night and they'll do so as the away team, even though the match is being played at the Estadio Benito Villamarin.
Given that the Copa del Rey draw paired the fourth-tier team from the region of Seville with one of the city's giants, it was decided that the match would be held at the LaLiga Santander side's stadium.
Alternatives were considered, but the ease of access for fans of both clubs led to this decision, as did the fact that the 20,000 expected attendance will be a massive boost for this small club.
This is the first ever time Real Betis will play as the away side at this stadium, although they did also do so back in 1929 in a match against Real Balompedica Linense at a previous stadium.
