Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is experiencing a difficult period between the sticks at the moment.
The Spaniard has made a string of glaring errors in recent performances prompting cause for concern for United.
There are eight other goalkeepers who have registered more clean sheets than de Gea this season, including Cardiff's Neil Etheridge, who has one more on eight.
While Ederson and Alisson, who de Gea would expect to be challenging for the Golden Glove Award, both have double the number of clean sheets the United keeper has.
De Gea's struggles to keep the ball out of his net has coincided with United's substandard record at Old Trafford this season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men have the worst home record out of the top six and have only claimed five more points than Everton and Wolves.
Old Trafford has been the stage that their No 1 has most often blundered on and it was in front on his own fans that de Gea made another error of judgement when he allowed Chelsea to equalise and steal a point on Sunday.
Even relegated Huddersfield, who have conceded the second highest number of goals this season (74) - only Fulham have let in more - have kept out the opposition on their own turf on more occasions than de Gea and United have.
Despite his recent from, Solskjaer and co have stressed the 28-year-old still has their backing ahead of their crucial final two matches.

Lol.. Who should we blame for man utd's troubles since Jose is no longer there for us to blame. Should we blame the manager Ole G.S, the players or the board?

De Gea was amazing for last 5 year, when De Gea played badly our defence which was carried by DeGea single handedly exposed. The worst thing is that we failed to score in those two matches when we have clean sheets,But our defence is to blame for it as well as DeGea for this season,But there have been a no. of instances when we lost ball in the midfield and attack and didn't try hard enough to get it back,The whole team is to blame not only defence.

De Gea has really had a tough season and i think mentally he knows, hears and sees the level of scrutiny he is under and it is poorly affecting his performance. That attempt to save the ball from Chelsea yesterday was really bad and looking at his demeanor after, you could tell that added another mental blow. Hope he deals with this properly so it wont affect his stay at the club.

3 errors in 123 games and people all of a sudden gone from saying he’s best GK in world to he’s lost it 😂😂 lads having a bit of a bad spell think after the last couple of years of keeping it from being more embarrassing than it’s been he’s entitled!

He is a world class goal keeper, don't judge him by single season. He should no be blamed alone, Man U defenders should also be blamed. It is just a bad season for de gea.
