Once went to Palace with a group of young kids, about 5 or 6 years, sitting in the family section. The language of the Palace fans behind this area was absolutely disgraceful, kids heard every single word. Stewards did nothing, just stood and watched. Been to Arsenal Highbury, Tottenham, Millwall, Leyton Orient and the old Wimbledon ground enjoyed them all but got no time for Palace. Nasty fans, rubbish club.

A Fox fan living in South London for my sins, I once attended a Palace v Brighton match. This was not long after the 'broken leg controversy'. Fan rivalry was intense and noisy. One set chanting 'Eagles' and t'other lot 'Seagulls'. You couldn't tell 'em apart. To a neutral it was really funny.
