Getafe secured a historic win over Ajax in the first leg of their Europa League last 32 clash but coach Jose Bordalas refused to accept the favourites tag.
Strikes from Deyverson and Kenedy, the second deep into injury time, give his team a commanding lead heading into the second leg.
"The favourites are still Ajax without any doubt, this team have a very good attacking threat, they've shown it against big teams, not small ones," he explained in his post-match press conference.
"Against Valencia away they won 3-0 and, at home, they've had great games, we have to enjoy and be aware that there are 90 minutes left against a team like Ajax."
However, he did confess that he didn't expect the result that his players achieved in the first leg.
"The truth is that no, we drew the most complicated and difficult team, last year they were Champions League semi-finalists and they dropped out at the group stage because of bad luck, it's a great team," he said.
"We always believe in hard work, we were able to reduce a team with fantastic attacking potential, they haven't created a single chance.
"We've won 2-0 which is a good result but it's never definitive."
When asked if it was the best game he remembers from his spell in charge, Bordalas was equally as reserved.
"Luckily I've been very satisfied by many games at Getafe, I always tell the boys not to limit themselves, we have to try to improve," he insisted.
Getafe will now seek to reach the next round when they travel to the Johan Cruyff Arena for the second leg.
