The Christmas break marks the end of Raul Gonzalez's first five months in charge of Real Madrid Castilla.
The former Los Blancos striker has already got his message of responsibility, humility, respect and sacrifice across to his young players, even if results haven't been the best.
Castilla are currently in 12th in Group One of the Segunda Division B - Spain's third tier - with five wins, seven draws and five defeats from their opening 17 games.
Their final match of 2019, against Celta Vigo B, was postponed because of the stormy weather in Galicia.
Raul doesn't like to have big egos in his squad and has set a tone of no tolerance in terms of discipline.
Players are asked to come in club attire for matches while they must be at Valdebebas an hour and a quarter before training starts.
Work and more work
Another of Raul's traits as a coach is to make his players do double training sessions, which have subsided of late as their schedule gets busier.
Because he's working with youngsters, the Spaniard has made sure that his methods don't push them beyond what they are able to do.
To put into context the age-group he is working with - players born in 1997 onwards - they say at Valdebebas that his players remember Raul the player, they just know him as their coach.
Documentary denial
Like his time as a player, Raul doesn't like to put unnecessary focus on anything he does. Last season, he refused to take part in a documentary that would follow his day-to-day movements.
While coaching Real Madrid's Cadete B side, Raul and Xabi Alonso were chosen to be the focus of the documentary, but the former didn't want to take part, so the project was binned.

Good attitude set by Raul. It’s brilliant that he is strict from now and it’s good to discipline the young players from now and it’s for their own good.

Zidane deserves more credit than Raul as he was good as a player and also good as a coach. But Raul was good as a player but not so good like Zidane as a coach.
Did you think Zidane was fantastic at Castilla? it's almost impossible to get a good position with Castilla... they are competing against strong opposition and they are just youngsters
