Bryan Mbeumo has enjoyed a sensational season for Brentford but his future with the West London side looks very uncertain amid interest from Premier League champions Liverpool
Brentford boss Thomas Frank has failed to rule out a move for Bryan Mbeumo in what is a big boost to Liverpool. The Bees forward has enjoyed a sensational campaign for the West London side this term.
The 25-year-old has scored 19 Premier League goals throughout the campaign, with teammate Yoane Wissa also finding some excellent form. Both have been touted for big-money moves this summer, particularly Mbeumo.
Liverpool have emerged as potential suitors for his services, and boss Frank appears to have left the door open to an exit for his star. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “He’s been fantastic.
“For me, it’s been a privilege to work with him for six years and see his development from a teenager, I think he was 19 when he came or a young man, to a more grown-up man in many ways. And that personal development I think is equally as important.
“I always knew he was a goalscorer. Now he’s now just a more consistent goalscorer. His hold-up play is even better, his assist play or link-up play, his work ethic is fantastic. So very impressed.”
Asked if he will still be a Brentford player next season, Frank replied: “Let’s see. We all love him. I watch him every day, he comes in with a big smile, trains with a big smile. He loves to be a Brentford player but let’s see.”
Frank’s latest comments are an about turn from the Brentford boss having previously given an update on Mbeumo’s future. While he suggested he could not predict the future, the Dane revealed his desire to keep the forward at the club and pointed to a very lofty price tag.
He said: "I'm the head coach, I want my best players to stay forever. I know that Bryan is very happy being here at Brentford, he's thriving, doing well and playing fantastic. What happens in the future? I don't know.

"I've said many times: we are a selling club. But at the same time we have to reinforce that there are 10 clubs in the world who aren't selling clubs.
"So, of course, if the right price - and that's going to be expensive - is coming, then I'm sure the club will be open for it. But I'm very happy he's here, and I'm convinced that Bryan will still be happy playing football here."
Mbeumo could potentially make his final appearance for Brentford this coming weekend. The Bees take on Wolves in their last game of the campaign on Sunday.

You're right i totally forgot, but still Mbuemo is younger than Salah and Mo only signed a two year contract so Mbuemo can learn from Salah for two years then when he leaves Bryan Mbuemo can step up.
