Thomas Tuchel wants Marina Granovskaia and Petr Cech to at Chelsea after Roman Abramovich exit

Thomas Tuchel has admitted he hopes Marina Granovskaia and Petr Cech keep their roles in the day-to-day running of the club after Roman Abramovich has sold Chelsea.

Prospective buyers have a deadline of March 15 to submit their offers to buy Chelsea, with Abramovich looking to conclude a swift sale as he fears being sanctioned by the British government.

It means there is great uncertainty over the long-term future of director Granovskaia and former Chelsea goalkeeper Cech, who now works as technical and performance advisor.

Speaking prior to Thursday's Premier League encounter against Norwich, Tuchel was quizzed on whether he will be able to keep working with the pair.

'This will not be my choice,' he admitted. 'This is a part of it (the uncertainty around the club).

'I can only tell you that until now it was an excellent relationship that worked so, so well for me and hopefully also for the two others - to take these decisions and to have the updates in a small circle of communications and responsibility.

'Hopefully it will stay like this but I have no influence over it and information if it will.'

Tuchel admitted that the ongoing speculation could easily be a cause for distraction to his squad but praised his players for focusing on football.

'To have clarity is always better than to have uncertainty,' Tuchel said. 'We produced performances, produced results in times of club uncertainty that makes us proud.

'It shows we can trust in ourselves and in the culture of the club and the culture here at Cobham. This is a good feeling, we have the culture right and the attitude right and we can focus if things are uncertain.

'I have absolutely no more information than you have and that is why no updates (on the takeover).'
