'Thought I got it from my daddy?' - Pulisic and his mum show off their skills

New Chelsea signing Christian Pulisic has been showing off his skills while performing keepy-uppies with his mother in the kitchen at their family home.

The video which emerged on the American winger's Instagram story shows him passing the ball to his mother, accompanied by the caption: 'And y'all thought I got it from my dad.'

The USA star and his mother Kelley tap the ball to each other 22 times in a rapid exchange.

In fact Pulisic's mother produces flicks and tricks while the 20 year-old, who cost the Blues £58m, manages to miscontrol the ball and bring the run to an end.

The Pennsylvania-born winger intends to change the perception of American players when he represents Chelsea next season.

‘I want to try to prove to people that Americans can do it. I just want to make a name and represent my country, definitely. So that we gain even more respect,’ he says.

‘I think at the beginning they think: ‘Who is this American trying to take my spot?’ he says.

‘You want to prove to them that you are good enough.’
