Tottenham news: Ange Postecoglou's start to life in north London has been a treat so far after three Premier League wins in four game

Ange Postecoglou has already won the hearts of many Tottenham Hotspur supporters. The Australian has enjoyed a successful start to life in north London after replacing Antonio Conte.

The former Celtic boss has won three of his opening four Premier League games in charge of Spurs after leaving Celtic. And barring a disappointing exit in the Carabao Cup at the hands of Fulham in the second round, life has started better than expected at Hotspur Way.

"Firstly, you’ve got to get asked. That’s the first thing; you’re not always asked. Secondly, you look at what you’re going into. The fact that it is — for all intents and purposes — one of the biggest clubs in the world but hasn’t had success for a very long time was probably the key driver for me.

"When you go into a challenge like that, you know that — should you be able to implement the things you want to and it goes well — you can make an impact and leave a mark on the club you’ve worked for. That’s what I’m trying to do.

"That was the biggest attraction for me: the fact that the club hasn’t had a lot of success, it was coming off the back of a particularly poor season even by its own standards. The opportunity there to create something."

"We are loving Big Ange," he told Sky Sports. "We are really enjoying it. It seems like they're playing great football and the lads seem like they're really enjoying it. For us, as Tottenham fans right now, it feels really good."

Holland, who plays Spider-Man, also provided a shout-out to central defender Cristian Romero. The Argentine faced heavy criticism last season but has begun the 2023/24 campaign incredibly well. "I've always thought that Cristian Romero was absolutely mustard so it's nice to see him peak in and do really well.," Holland said.
