Lucas Torreira summed up the feelings of an entire fanbase as he struggled to fight back the tears on the Arsenal bench in Baku.
The Uruguayan midfielder was sacrificed in the 66th minute with the Gunners 3-0 down to Chelsea in the final of the Europa League.
He appeared emotional as he trudged towards the touchline to be replaced by Alex Iwobi before letting it all out as he took his seat in the dugout.
He slumped into his chair with his head hanging down and staring at the floor as Arsenal's Europa League dream slipped through their fingers.
They went on to lose 4-1 with substitute Iwobi's stunning strike proving nothing more than a consolation.

It's really disappointing to an arsenal fan right now, but chin up lads you did your best but had no luck emery is the right man for the job, kudos to him for taking this squad to a European final. The only problem with arsenal is Stan kronke the man is the energy vampire sapping arsenal he needs to inject some cash or leave the club #kronkeout

its high time I familiarize myself with my new club Madrid starting eleven, starting from HAZARD...this arsenal team can give you malaria, diabetics and ulcer at the same time,am too young to come and die .

You know what, I sympathise with Arsenal. Owner is a clown, the newer players care more than the ones who have been there longer, the structure at the club is as bad as ours. It's honestly crazy... Torreira caring more than the other players sums up the problem. Only few fighters at the club. Chelsea is similar in that respect but when it comes to finals, the team always turn up somehow....

Iwobi could have started the game.. He was just superb..Perfect passes and wonder consolation goal as a substitute. Then imagine if he had started the match..he would created more chances and maybe scored more goals. Willock was great too. But they came in late being 3-0 down. The better team won. Congrats to the Chelsea. I guess 2018/19 is "THE SEASON OF THE BLUES".
