With several important figures leaving Atletico Madrid this summer, the club are about to move into a new era.
Diego Godin, Juanfran and Antoine Griezmann are among those that will leave but what about the other members of Diego Simeone's squad?
Jan Oblak - Staying
The Slovenian has because one of the world's best goalkeepers during his time in Madrid and is ready to be involved in the club's new project.
Antonio Adan - Staying
The back-up goalkeeper has another year left on his contract and will stay to provide cover for Oblak next season.
Diego Godin - Leaving
The veteran defender didn't reach an agreement with Atletico for a new contract and will now move on to Inter. He will leave very difficult shoes to fill as much as a leader than as a player.
Filipe Luis - Unsure
He has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain but could opt to stay in a more rotational role at Atletico. If he does leave, Los Rojiblancos will have to sign two left-backs, which isn't easy in the current market.
Santiago Arias - Staying
Although his first campaign at Atletico wasn't very consistent, Arias has tried to persuade Simeone to give him a second chance. With the departure of Juanfran, there could be more opportunities coming his way if he ends up staying.
Stefan Savic - Staying
With Godin on his way out, Savic will work alongside Jose Gimenez to rebuild the defence. He will only leave if Atletico receive a big offer for him.
Juanfran - Leaving
The right-back rejected the chance to sign a new deal and has chosen to leave the club after several years of service.
Lucas Hernandez - Leaving
The Frenchman's move to Bayern Munich has been a huge blow to Atletico. He has become one of the best central defenders in Europe and has already said goodbye.
Jose Gimenez - Staying
The Uruguayan is expected to follow compatriot Godin's legacy and become an integral part of Simeone's defence.
Nehuen Perez - Leaving
Atletico intend to send the youngster out on loan so that he can gain more experience.
Thomas Partey - Staying
Atletico and Simeone want him to stay but his release clause is just 50 million euros and the Premier League clubs know that.
Koke - Staying
The midfielder will take over as captain and become one of the main leaders in the squad.
Saul - Staying
His representatives were looking for a move away but a lack of offers and a release clause of 150 million euros have consigned him to stay in Madrid. Simeone believes he can rediscover his best form and become a leader in the team.
Thomas Lemar - Staying
His performances this season haven't matched the high price Atletico paid for him last summer but Simeone trusts him to prove his worth. His flair will be important in the post-Griezmann era.
Rodrigo - Unsure
The midfielder is being touted by Europe's biggest clubs and a move to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City is on the cards. His release clause is just 70 million euros and it would be a huge disappointment for Simeone to lose him so soon after he arrived at Los Rojiblancos.
Vitolo - Unsure
Although his talent is unquestionable, injuries and inconsistency haven't allowed him to make his mark at Atletico. There are some displays where he has shown he is good enough to continue next season.
Antoine Griezmann - Leaving
The club's talisman has already announced his imminent exit and will leave when his release clause of 120 million euros is met by another club.
Nikola Kalinic - Leaving
His role has been sporadic at best this season and leaving would be the best solution for the club and for him.
Angel Correa - Unsure
Simeone has given the Argentine plenty of chances but he hasn't been able to take them. The club will listen to offers for him this summer.
Diego Costa - Staying
It seemed like he was going to leave after the sending off against Barcelona but he will be needed to provide the firepower after Griezmann's departure.
Alvaro Morata - Staying
He has adapted perfectly to the team and isn't thinking about anything else other than staying. He will be vital in Simone's attack next season.

Performance is not depend on time. It depends on place and team. ALVARO MORATA is one of the best example.

every team needs rebuild one a time, our golden era is coming to the end, but we can't live in the past and simeone need to change his system, because everyone already knows it godin, juanfran, Griezmann, luis are leaving, diego costa and kalinic should go also we should buy a good striker to replace griezmann, my dream is werner, although i doubt that it will happen, but hopefully we will get him, also we need left back (telles would be the best) and two quality defenders, i see upamecano as good option,he is young, strong and fast and he could go together with werner as a deal i don't know how many of my wishes will come true, but let's hope for great season, Aúpa Atleti!

It’s not as bad as it looked earlier. We still have plenty of good players there. We just need 3-4 good signings to be back where we were in past years.

I think that the Atleti had it more than thought, maybe the one who can do pupa is Rodrigo if he leaves, but Juanfran and filipe knew before the end of the previous season, and godin almost almost, we have been almost 2 seasons lateral, red carpet for both performance that have given several years for what they cost and without being controversial in any way etc ...

I wanted to ask David G Medina that when he says that Rodri is thinking of leaving or staying a year longer than if he stays that year more is because: because he likes the metropolitan, because he likes the red stripes, because he is caught by the stadium , because his grandfather was from Atleti, or perhaps he can say can and they are data without confirming is because he is in one of the best teams in Europe?

Scared I am with what they can bring, fear they give me. By the way, Adam can not be given away or something? Surely the subsidiary has better goalkeepers than this calamity.

These are the news that I've been interested in and not the color of the shirts. I think there's a certain runaway atmosphere and that's what's worrying. Saul for sale? Amazing !. Correa, Kalinic, they must leave. You doubt about Vitolo and Arias. And then it takes about eight players! You need side, two center, one inside. Extreme on the right and two forwards. Or so I think

Quiet the best paid coach in the world will solve it, I would be glad that some players who leave will talk about what is cooked inside, with this star of the coaches.Quiet the best paid coach in the world will solve it, I would be glad that some players who leave will talk about what is cooked inside, with this star of the coaches.

They talk about revolution as if the club had pretended by necessity to do it when really what is happening is that the cracks are looking for a club with a coach that fight from you to you against a big ... Anyway ... A disassembled team by a coach who has not known how to value what he had. I insist this Atleti has (or had) capacity to play at a very high level (the 2-0 against Juve is an example) but the coach did not leave them ... A pity

To be honest, I like the policy of the athletics with players who are serving years, although they can make some mistakes, do not settle and there are no problems as happens with bale in Madrid now. Having said that to see if they succeed with substitutions, but it's not bad as I start

Those who are in their final stretch and those who leave money go. Griezzman I do not care if he leaves, I would try Lemar in his position, freed from some defensive functions I think he is a great player, signing profile players Falcao, Gabi, Raul Garcia and a couple of "fines" like Lemar and another, in what is more risk is in the defenses, there you have to hit, Filipe renewed dosing. The team that played with Costa and Falcao above and a center field that physical and with good ball stopped is the best that the athleti has had, that is the model to follow, Morata is good for us, with Costa and another forward of that type would be all right. We hope to hit the defenses.

It is impressive the contempt and the disdain with which they explain the exits and the possible exits of the Atleti ...

Important not to dislodge. And how good they talk about Revolution. Do not go cross the wires, talk about Renovation and do like the neighbors across the street that renew all the authors of the Nadaplete. Less obvious to Navas (who is the only one who plays) is out of place and it is better to dismiss him as insolent ...

This renewal of staff is what will mark your future if you do well you will stay the next few years among the big teams in Europe if they do a bad planning in signings will happen to you as the Valencia that reached 2 finals of champions, won the UEFA but not he knew how to renew himself and he has remained in a team that is not very important at European level
