Tottenham 2-0 Dinamo Zagreb: Kane scores twice as Spurs gain advantage

  /  R47

Two goals from Harry Kane was enough to give Tottenham a convincing victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the first leg of their Europa League last 16 tie.

Match Report

The hosts broke the deadlock in the 25th minute when Erik Lamela's shot came back off the post and fell kindly for Kane, who tucked the ball home from close range.

Kane then grabbed his second in the 70th minute to give Spurs a comfortable lead. Kevin Theophile-Catherine failed to deal with Serge Aurier's cross and his scuffed clearance fell to the Tottenham striker, who produced some quick feet to fire a shot into the bottom right corner.
