Tottenham have banned the reporter who presented boss Ange Postecoglou with a Bayern Munich shirt that had Harry Kane's name on the back.
Spurs are currently in Thailand on the second leg of their pre-season tour that began in Australia and will see them soon head onto Singapore.
Since joining from Celtic this summer, Postecoglou has already strengthened his squad with the additions of James Maddison, Manor Solomon, Guglielmo Vicario and Dejan Kulusevski, but the future of talisman Kane remains uncertain.
German champions Bayern have already seen two bids rejected for the England captain - who has just a year left on his deal - and are reportedly preparing to return with a third offer.
And at a press conference ahead of their pre-season game with Leicester City in Bangkok on Sunday, Max Schrader, a reporter from German newspaper BILD, pulled the Kane stunt.
However, Postecoglou was left unimpressed when Schrader brandished a Bayern shirt emblazoned with Kane's name and the number nine on.
'What does that look like?' laughed the journalist as he showed the new Spurs boss the Bayern shirt. 'It looks quite good, no?'
A furious Postecoglou raged: 'I don't know what you're talking about. Did you get a good laugh? Very good. You came a long way for that.'
The Australian recently admitted he 'wasn't relaxed' about the Kane speculation with Bayern already having had two bids knocked back.
Following Schrader's actions, Spurs have now banned him from their press conferences and withdrawn his accreditation for the Leicester game.
After Sunday's match, Postecoglou's side face the Lion City Sailors in Singapore on Wednesday, before they host Shakhtar Donetsk and then travel to Barcelona to conclude their pre-season schedule.
They begin their Premier League campaign with a trip to Brentford on Sunday August 13 as they hope to bounce back after a chaotic and dismal campaign last season that saw them come eighth and miss out on European football for the first time in 14 years.

Let Tottenham FC not try to impede the progress of Harry Kane by joining Bayern Munich FC so that he can play in the Champions league and even win trophies. Tottenham Hotspur cannot do it let them allow the tallies man to progress to achieve something. I come in peace.

You're welcome. It's really not a good thing he did. Very disrespectful, no one feels good when one of your good players leave and someone coming with a Jersey when there are speculations going on is very irritating.

That was not a good gesture, he should show respect to Tottenham. I'm a Bayern Fan and I'm not in support of this reporter, when a player has a contract with a club, respect should be shown.
