Dele Alli is free to leave Tottenham Hotspur this January, with the English midfielder most likely to find a temporary destination to go on loan for the remainder of the season.
Nuno Espirito Santo's spell in charge of Spurs looked as though it might allow Dele to get back to his best form, but he has fallen back out of favour under current coach Antonio Conte.
Previously, Spurs have been reluctant to let the midfielder leave and Daniel Levy fought off interest from Paris Saint-Germain in 2020 and in January 2021, but now Fabio Paratici, the managing director, and Conte are all in agreement that the door is open for Dele to depart.
The Athletic, though, have reported that clubs are reluctant to meet Spurs' valuation of the 25-year-old, with his contract running until 2024 in north London.
Dele an afterthought for Conte
Under Conte, Dele has only made one Premier League appearance, which came as a late substitution in their win over Leeds United. Other than that, he hasn't featured domestically.
His only start under the Italian came in their embarrassing loss to Mura in the Europa Conference League.
