England captain Harry Kane will not play a part in tonight's 58th Trofeu Joan Gamper, which will pit FC Barcelona against Tottenham Hotspurs.

According to Sky Sports, the Londoners' captain Harry Kane will not travel to the Catalan capital for the last friendly before the official kick-off of the season.
The call-up has not yet been announced, but several British media have echoed the news. It appears that the absence is not related to his possible departure this summer transfer window. The new coach, Ange Postecoglou, wants to preserve him for the start of the Premier League, which will be this Sunday away against Brentford, from 15:00.
Tottenham have just played a friendly match this Sunday, hosting Shakhtar and beating the Ukrainians 5-1. The English striker scored a hat-trick. Dane Scarlett completed the scoring, while the consolation goal was scored by Kevin Kelsy.
In total, Spurs will have played four friendly matches before the start of the regular season. They opened with a 2-3 defeat to West Ham in Australia, but the game against Leicester was postponed. On 26 July they beat Lion City Sailors 5-1 in Singapore.
