Lucas Moura is a fan favourite at Tottenham and he further underlined that amid the pandemonium of their 3-2 win at Leicester City on Wednesday night.

Trailing 2-1 in the 95th minute, Spurs somehow turned the game on it's head courtesy of two extremely late substitute Steven Bergwijn goals.

When the Dutch forward rounded Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel to complete the stunning comeback it sparked mass jubilation among the travelling fan base at the King Power Stadium.

As Bergwijn ran over to celebrate with the supporters, one fan was able to hug him before some of his team-mates could join.

Captain Hugo Lloris and Moura were soon able to embrace the goalscorer with the fan still clinging on.

And in a light-hearted fashion as the wild scenes continued, Moura grabbed the fan's woolly hat and threw it on the floor in ecstasy.

One fan caught the clip and recorded it on Twitter along with the caption: 'Lucas Moura taking someone’s hat in the celebrations' and a rolling on the floor laughing emoji.

Antonio Conte will be hoping the morale-boosting win sets Spurs on their way to sealing a top-four finish.

Tottenham will now approach Sunday’s London derby at Chelsea with confidence, despite being knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Conte’s former club earlier this month.

Spurs sit fifth in the Premier League standings on 36 points after 19 games. However, they are only a point behind West Ham and have three games in hand, while they are eight points behind Chelsea with four games in hand.
