Tottenham have agreed a fee for Chelsea's highly-regarded youngster Jude Soonsup-Bell in a bid to strengthen their academy side.
Soonsup-Bell came through the ranks at Cobham after arriving from Swindon town in 2015, but with just six months on his contract is set to make the switch to north London, according to the Evening Standard.
Chelsea have dominated the transfer market, bringing in 15 new faces in the 2022-23 campaign alone, and are still pursuing a deal for Benfica's Enzo Fernandez, which has given rise to concerns numerous young talents could be forced to leave.
Soonsup-Bell was targeted to help revive Tottenham's academy prospects in the Premier League 2, with the north London side currently second from bottom in the table.
Despite being highly regarded at the Chelsea academy, the youngster is set for an exit that will see him develop at one of the club's biggest rivals.
He is expected to be offered a route to the first-team in the future, which will include loan moves away from the club in order to gain minutes at senior level.
The striker reportedly rejected the advances of Manchester City - as well as clubs abroad - to join Spurs, and will now undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on a new deal.
Chelsea's spending has neared the Β£500million mark this season, with the club's new owners intent on rebuilding the club by signing in young stars that will develop at Stamford Bridge.
Soonsup-Bell has featured 14 times for the Under-21 side in 2022-23, scoring twice and assisting a further two for the Blues.
He has also been capped for England at four different youth levels, amassing a total of 10 goals from 18 outings at international level.
Current Blues starlet Charlie Webster rejected offers from Borussia Dortmund and PSV - known for nurturing young talent into regular stars at senior level - to stay at the west London outfit.
However there remain fears that numerous other youngsters at the academy might look to ply their trade elsewhere as they run down their contracts to the final six months.

Chelsea should always remember to add buy back clause in any deal
If they run down their contract there would be no buy back clause,it will be free transfer and if they refuse to sign new contract as in the case of this particular player, they will pay Chelsea training compensation as his deal remain 6 months
