Tottenham bring Alex Morgan to the Women's Super League

Tottenham have announced the signing of Alex Morgan on a one-year deal.

The forward has made 169 appearances for the United States during her career, scoring 107 goals and winning two World Cups.

The transfer, which could be a massive coup for Spurs and the Women's Super League in England, is subject to Morgan acquiring a work permit.

Morgan has played in Europe before, winning the Champions League with Lyon in 2016.
