Tottenham have denied their new ground is to be called 'The Nike Stadium' amid reports they will play their first game there against Brighton on April 7 in the Premier League.
A beIN SPORTS video tweeted on Friday shows Richard Keys revealing the name as 'The Nike Stadium' but sources have told Sportsmail it is not correct.
Tottenham were scheduled to playing in the stadium for the entirety of the 2018-19 season but delays have meant they have held all their home games at Wembley.
'I believe I am right in saying the first league game will be played April 6th, Brighton the opposition,' Keys said. That match is now scheduled to be on April 7.
'And that stadium I can exclusively reveal will be called "The Nike Stadium",' Keys adds.
Tottenham are planning to hold test events at the stadium from the end of next week in order to receive a safety certificate from Haringey council.
