FRANK LAMPARD was mercilessly trolled by Tottenham fans as his Everton side were humiliated in North London.
The 43-year-old boss enjoyed plenty of trips to Spurs as both a player and manager with Chelsea, but his first visit with Everton ended in a dismal 5-0 defeat.
And during the game, Lampard was continuously targeted by the home crowd with a chorus of chants.
One of those was in reference to Liverpool legend and Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard, who is enjoying a far better time in the West Midlands than Lampard is on Merseyside.
Spurs fans mocked Lampard with chants: "You're just a s*** Steven Gerrard."
And they continued their tirade with a rendition of: "You're getting sacked in the morning."
Lampard had claimed before the game that he expected Everton assistant Ashley Cole to get more stick from Spurs fans than him.
But as cries of: "Lampard, Lampard what's the score?" rained down on him, he might have been rethinking that opinion.
A Harry Kane double, plus efforts from Heung-Min Son, Sergio Reguilon and a Michael Keane own goal condemned Lampard to a dismal defeat.
Speaking after the game, Lampard told Sky Sports: "We have to think in the bigger picture and go there are 13 games to go for us, eight of those at home and teams around us are having difficulties.
"And that's where we're at.
"We have to understand that before I came in there were issues that are becoming more clear to me every day but the important thing as I lead it is the positivity stays.
"Not stupid positivity, there's nothing positive about tonight really, other than probably Antony Gordon and a couple of performances of credit in terms of people that didn't give up.
"And that should be the bare minimum. I demand that and it gives me a lot of food for thought going forward."
Everton have lost four out of five Premier League games under Lampard and are hovering perilously just a point above the drop zone.
The win against Leeds, plus FA Cup triumphs against Brentford and Boreham Wood remain Lampard's only victories as Everton boss.
With 13 games still to play there's still plenty of time for Everton to climb up the table, but the Toffees are making hard work of it.

as bad as it looks he still got a chance, I didn't see Jerry Mina. He needs to fix the defense everything is open field ,no coordination, when James Rodriguez was playing it was different team,

Gerrard is a man with vision he knows having a pedigree is a sure shot to success and who would like do their mistakes in their biggest jobs Lampard clearly rushed into the job I'm sure when Gerrard takes up the job he will be a success but he now way ready yet next step he needs to charge of a champions league team and atleast qualify for last 8 then he will be the perfect fit for Liverpool because whatever happens he will be compared to Klopp and Klopp is one of the best in Europe
