Tottenham are in contact with Barcelona for Franck Kessie.
The Ivory Coast midfielder only arrived last summer in a Bosman transfer from AC Milan.
However, he could be now sold on by Barca as they seek to fit under the LaLiga's Financial Fair Play laws.
Barca have circulated Kessie's name across Europe and Sport says Tottenham have made an approach.
Kessie can leave the Nou Camp at a starting price of €25m.

Barca need a technician to manage the team transfer plan. They don't know who to buy and who to sell. I see they are after a bunch of mid 30's players what a shame. They need to build a team for the future around young players. Sell Eric Garcia, Ferran Tores, Alonso, Dest, Mtiti. Negotiate a short contract with reduced salary for Busquest and Alba. Loan Ansu so he could get game time. Raphina is a good player but he needs a good coach like Guadiola to shape his playing style. Frank kessie is strong we need him, just give him playing time. Lewandowski is a finisher he needs players to feed him. We need two years to build a team with young players and freeze any big spending to save money.
