Jose Mourinho has failed to stop talented young central defender Luis Binks leaving the club.
Binks, 18, has quit Tottenham and is now training with Thierry Henry's Montreal Impact in Canada.
Mourinho tried to intervene when he heard that Binks had grown frustrated with what he believed to be a lack of a pathway to the first team at Tottenham.
Binks has long been admired by Spurs academy staff, with some predicting he would be the next youngster to forge a path into the first team.
However, the youngster's patience has run out with those at the club and he has sought pastures new in Canada.
A return to Europe may be on the cards should Binks impress in the MLS, with Impact and Serie A side Bologna sharing the same owner.

The same if we were in his shoes. Rather than approach his move with anger, let him move to pursue his ambitions.
