De Zerbi is a strong supporter of Gakpo's arrival and is actively pushing within the club to make another attempt to sign the forward from Liverpool. Meanwhile, Liverpool has made clear that the club is not necessarily looking to sell Gakpo and would only consider it if a sufficiently attractive offer is received.
