According to a report from RMC Sport, there are several clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, that are ready to match AFC Bournemouth’s €70m valuation for Illia Zabarnyi (22). However, the French outlet writes that the Ukrainian centre-back only wants to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Zabarnyi reportedly has already agreed on personal terms with Les Parisiens on a five-year contract. And bolstered by the player’s support for a move, PSG have been attempting to negotiate Bournemouth away from their price tag.

RMC Sport writes that there is less than €5m difference between PSG and Bournemouth, but no agreement in principle has yet been reached. They further explain that Luis Campos has let PSG’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, take over the negotiations.

If Zabarnyi were to arrive in the French capital, there would likely be a knock-on effect in the squad. Lucas Beraldo (21) reportedly put in a transfer request which has been accepted on condition that Les Parisiens land a new centre-back.
