Tottenham star Christian Eriksen has been awarded with the Premier League goal of the month award for April for his stunning 30-yard strike against Chelsea at the beginning of last month.
The Dane scored what would turn out to be a crucial equaliser against the Blues at Stamford Bridge on April 1, sparking a comeback which would eventually see Spurs seal a 3-1 win.
Dele Alli scored a second-half brace to cancel out Alvaro Morata's opening goal and earn three points. Not only did the win strengthen their bid to finish in the top four, but it also represented their first away victory against Chelsea since 1990.
Asked where the goal against Chelsea ranks in his career, Erkisen said: 'It's up there and it's also one of the more important ones so of course I am pleased that I have won this.
'Before I received the ball I knew I had some space to take it into and get my shot away. The space stayed open and I didn't get closed down so I had the opportunity to shoot. And it was literally just hitting the ball and luckily it went in.
'After the game I remember people were saying that we haven't won here for so many years. Of course, there is always something in the history books or some stat that you can find somewhere but I think we were happy with the win.'
It is the second time this season that the goal of the month award has been awarded to a Tottenham player with Victor Wanyama the first claimant for his amazing strike against Liverpool in February.
Both goals could yet prove significant with the race for a top four space far from over with just two games left to play this season. Chelsea's win over Liverpool and West Brom's shock victory over Tottenham means any one of the three teams could still drop out.
Should Tottenham draw against Newcastle United on Tuesday night and Chelsea beat Huddersfield then all three teams will go into the final game on 72 points.
It remains in the hands of Mauricio Pochettino's side, however, with four points from their final two games almost certainly enough to seal Champions League football for next season.

Potentially unpopular opinion but I think Dele’s was better. Still pumped for one of the boys to get it though.

It was always going to be between his and Dele's first from that match. Both sublime goals.
