Tottenham have been chasing the Real Betis star for months with Mauricio Pochetttino looking for another midfielder.
Last night the north London club made a breakthrough in negotiations after striking a £55m agreement.
It was then left for personal terms to be agreed between the club and the player.
And according to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, that has been successful and the player is now in London to complete his move.
