Tottenham training was invaded by the Minnesota Vikings on Monday as the Premier League side were visited by some special guests from the NFL.

Spurs have been using the Vikings' Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center as they prepare for the final game of their US tour — against AC Milan on Tuesday night.

Vikings general manager Rick Spielman and a number of his players posed for pictures with the Tottenham squad. Spielman also gave Spurs forward Son Heung-min some coaching to improve his throwing.

Goalkeeper Michel Vorm took to the task of throwing an American football more naturally than Son, while left back Ben Davies also impressed.

Despite struggling with the ball in his hand, Son was presented with a shirt from a star quarterback as he and Kirk Cousins swapped jerseys.

Spurs centre back Davinson Sanchez kicked a field goal and swapped shirts with defensive end Everson Griffen.

After the Spurs players had tried out as American footballers, Cousins showed that he can kick as well as throw by converting a penalty.
