Tottenham want to make their new £1billion stadium the venue for Anthony Joshua's next fight on these shores.
The world heavyweight champion will fight in the UK later this year and the Premier League club want their stunning new home at White Hart Lane to replace Wembley as Joshua's home.
Joshua needs to identify a new opponent for his New York title defence after Jarrell Miller failed a drugs test but will then return home for a bout.
And, according to The Sun, Spurs want their 62,000-capacity stadium to host the big fight.
When Joshua fought Alexander Povetkin back in October, the Wembley pitch was cut up for weeks.
But Spurs could avoid damage to the playing surface they hold Premier League games on by simply rolling it under the south stand and placing the ring and seating on the artificial surface underneath.
That artificial surface is designed to host NFL matches but Spurs see no reason why it couldn't be used for other blockbuster sporting events such as boxing.
The last fight to be held at White Hart Lane was back in September 1991 when Michael Watson's life was almost ended in the ring after being knocked out by Chris Eubank.
Other notable fights held at the stadium include Frank Bruno's bout with Joe Bugner in 1987.
Joshua has regularly said he doesn't support a football team.

But,but the stadium will cripple them for the next 100 years shouted all the goons just like it did to us, but as I said 18 months ago as a multi event arena it will pay for itself in no time, meanwhile the Emirates gathers dust restricted by the buffoon on the Arsenal board who allowed a planning restriction to limit the venue to 3 extra events a year, meanwhile up the road its .....KERCHING.KERCHING, KERCHING.
