In the upcoming Premier League Round 21 showdown, Arsenal will host Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium—a fixture where the Gunners have been on the back foot.

According to statistics, Arsenal have conceded in each of their last 20 league meetings with Liverpool. The last time they managed to keep a clean sheet against the Reds was all the way back in August 2015, in a goalless 0–0 draw. In Arsenal’s entire history, only two opponents have produced longer streaks of consecutive league goals conceded:

- Manchester United (30 matches between 1953 and 1968)

- Tottenham Hotspur (24 matches between 1955 and 1967)

On a brighter note, Arsenal have won their last two Premier League home games against reigning champions, defeating Manchester City in both the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons. If they beat Liverpool this weekend, it would mark the first time since the 1961/62 to 1963/64 seasons that Arsenal have beaten the defending champions at home in three consecutive campaigns—having previously done so against Tottenham, Ipswich Town, and Everton.
