We only become beaten in transfers when we have signed an agreement witb any player between Chelsea and the player's agents. Chelsea have not had an agreement with Higuain, Caldara and Rugani yet! City had an agreement witb Jorghino but Chelsea hijacked him under broad day light. Malcolm had an agreement with AS Roma but on the 11th hour, Barcelona had an improved offer and beat Roma to his signing which caused a stir and disgusted feeling in Rome. So whoever said that Chelsea were beaten in the transfer market thats a joke. Chelsea are spending wisely, we don't want to buy the league like what City, Liverpool and Man U are doing with big money signings. We are also think of home grown quota players (english grown) so we are just following the rules and playing safe! We are not stingy but treading on safer waters!
lol..... u have paid higher in the past year, ur club owner was not allowed in to the country on time and u didn't get a coach on time too, u are still very much willing to spend like always, check how much u have paid in last 2 seasons
