Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel admitted he was taking it "day by day" as the club remains in crisis following the sanctions imposed on owner Roman Abramovich.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the future of the club, Tuchel insisted there is "no doubt" he will remain as manager until the end of the season.
"Yes, absolutely. We just have to wait day by day because everything can change. As you know, the situation is clear, the club is for sale and hopefully it will go through to sort things out and give some perspective. It's pure speculation and I have no further information than you already have. That's what I meant with day by day which is anyway a good way to live your life. And now we are forced to do it because we have some circumstances we cannot influence."
Kai Havertz's late finish sealed a nervy 1-0 win for Chelsea over Newcastle on Sunday, providing a rare distraction from the turmoil at the London side.
