Manchester City and Liverpool have gone head to head in the title race for the last two seasons and now they're competing on the racecourse as well...sort of.
Two horses named 'Klopp' and 'Aguerooo!' will do battle in the Ken's Sam's at Wolverhampton racecourse at 5:20 in a field of 12 all looking to win the top prize.
While the Premier League trophy is the bounty Liverpool and City have gone in pursuit of on the football pitch, a more modest £2,782 prize is available for Monday's winner.
If the odds are anything to go by, then today's race will be a much closer contest than this season's race for top flight supremacy.
Liverpool are odds-on to win their first league title in 30 years as they sit 14 points ahead of City, but there's no guarantee 'Klopp' will be leading the pack when the horses reach the final furlong.
The nag is available at odds of 8/1 with Skybet, having finished in second place to Knockabout Queen over the same distance at Lingfield earlier this month, having been 11/1 prior to the race.
'Aguerooo' can be backed at identical odds, but is not in form going into the race after finishing 10th at 16/1 in a field of 11 at Lingfield last time out.
Weather could also wreak havoc for both horses, with heavy rain and gusts of 48 mph expected at Wolverhampton as officials continue to monitor the elements.
