UEFA are desperately trying to flog Euro 2020 merchandise by knocking just 15 per cent off all products promoting the tournament.
The summer tournament was set to be staged this summer across 12 European countries, but was postponed by a year due to the coronavirus outbreak.
However, UEFA confirmed earlier this month that the tournament will still be named Euro 2020, despite the European football spectacle now taking place in the summer of 2021.
And with football fans across the continent having to delay their enthusiasm for the tournament by 12 months, UEFA have attempted to keep the excitement levels high by reducing the prices of all of their Euro 2020 stock.
At the time of the postponement, UEFA had already sold a great deal of tournament merchandise and a name change to Euro 2021 would have reduced the value of the items, despite it being more a factually accurate name.
As a result, items such as t-shirts, jumpers, scarves and shorts will carry a Euro 2020 logo but will be sold at a slightly-discounted price.
In order to avoid a clash with the men's tournament, the Women's European Championships in England were moved from the summer of 2021 to July 2022.
It is believed the women's tournament will also keep its name despite the 12-month postponement.
Meanwhile, a decision on the staging of the 2021 European Under-21s Championships in Hungary and Slovenia is set to be made in a UEFA executive committee on May 11.
