USA overcame a 90-minute weather delay and a spirited Jamaica side to move through to Sunday's decider against Mexico in Chicago.
Match Events
9' GOAL! United States 1-0 Jamaica (McKennie)
USA are off to a phenomenal start and they get a much deserved early goal through McKennie! Cannon crosses the ball low into the penalty area for Altidore, who gets a little flick on the ball to take it to McKennie whose run takes him through the heart of the defence. The midfielder gets a touch to set himself before finishing high into the roof of the net!
Jozy Altidore instrumental with a fine assist.
52' GOAL! United States 2-0 Jamaica (Pulisic)
McKennie plays a superb ball over the top for Morris who runs inside and fires a shot towards Blake, who can only parry it across goal to the other post, where Pulisic is arriving. From there, it’s a simple finish into an empty goal as United States double their advantage!
69' GOAL! United States 2-1 Jamaica (Nicholson)
Bailey is at the centre of the move as he gets by Arriola and Ream before chipping it to the far post for Nicholson who heads it past Steffen! Game on!
87' GOAL! United States 3-1 Jamaica (Pulisic)
Pulisic breaks free in the penalty area and has a strike at goal which Blake does exceptionally well to get down and save. Unfortunately for the Jamaica captain, he can only turn the shot into the path of USA's number 10, who finishes the second effort with a strike to the far post!
Match Report
Defending champions the United States set up a blockbuster CONCACAF Gold Cup final against rivals Mexico after beating Jamaica 3-1.
Goals from Weston McKennie and Christian Pulisic sent USA through to Sunday's decider following a weather-interrupted semi-final in Nashville.
After McKennie's early opener, Wednesday's game was stopped for one-and-a-half hours due to lightning, but USA were not to be denied when the clash resumed in the 16th minute, with Pulisic doubling the lead seven minutes into the second half.
USA did concede their first goal of the tournament as Jamaica substitute Shamar Nicholson set up a nervy finale with 21 minutes remaining but Pulisic capitalised on another rebound to make sure of the result in the 87th minute.

I swear the whole tournament has been Pulisic vs everyone else. I wont judge from that tournament cos for the most part the quality of football isnt great but his abilities demonstrated individually however have been amazing. Crossing ability, dribbling, shooting and link up are insane with Pulisic. He has the potential to become just like Hazard but the only issue is fulfilling that potential and I hope he does and wish him luck as a Blue.....

No one cares. The winner every time is either Mexico or USA. That cup is the Ligue 1 of international cups

I remember when we got j.cole we thought we can’t get better player than him and hazard came and his better than j.cole. So what am trying to say is that someone better will rise to shine. We will be thinking it might be CHO or pulisic but my mind tell kovacic or cheek will take over from hazard

Pulisic will succeed Hazard at Chelsea, he's definitely a good player.
