Udinese were reduced to 10 men in the 95th minute and AC Milan took advantage, with Alessio Romagnoli striking the winner two minutes later.
Match Events
7' CHANCE! Higuain's shot wide out
The striker gets into a great area to receive a Laxalt cross from the left, but he knuckles his half-volley just wide of the post.
The striker should have done better, but it’s a decent first opportunity of the match from the away side.
15' GREAT CHANCE! Suso's shot wide out
The Spain international holds off a challenge from a defender in the penalty area and puts the ball on his left before curling a shot which narrowly misses the bottom-left corner of the goal!
That’s Suso’s trademark move – and it’s a surprise he didn’t do better with the opportunity.
30' CHANCE! Suso's shot saved
Suso goes to the near post where it’s immediately rebuffed by Lasagna, though his clearing header goes right back to the winger. His second delivery is to the far post for Cutrone, but it’s a wayward cross that goes out for a goal-kick.
35' Higuain goes off injured
Higuain has sat down on the turf once again and is calling for a substitution – much to the disappointment of Cutrone.
Gattuso sends an attacking midfielder on to replace Higuain, as Castillejo is his chosen replacement.
42' GREAT CHANCE! Cutrone's shot saved
The striker, playing up front by himself after the departure of Higuain gets into the penalty area and fires a strike across his body to the far post, but Musso rises well and pushes the ball out of play for a corner.
58' CHANCE! Castillejo's shot saved
The former Villarreal midfielder has enough room to swing his left foot towards goal from outside the penalty area, forcing the Udinese keeper to make a fantastic diving save! It’s now Milan’s turn to attack!
60' GREAT CHANCE! Suso's shot over the bar
Oh, it should really be 1-0 Milan after an incredible run by Castillejo, which sees him get past three players and hold off a number of challenges as he makes his way into the penalty area on the left-hand side.
He looks up and sees Suso streaming in and tees him up perfectly with a weighted pass onto his left foot. The right-winger takes a strike, but it balloons horribly high – and he can't believe it!
63' NO PENALTY! Cutrone tackled down in penalty area
Bakayoko slips a leading pass through the defence into the penalty area for Cutrone, and Opoku comes across and blocks his path, sending the striker to ground. The referee immediately denies the claims, however, infuriating the Milan forward.
90+7' GOAL! Udinese 0-1 Milan (Romagnoli)
Romagnoli wins the ball in midfield and Suso then sprays it ahead for Cutrone, who cuts it back towards the penalty spot. After a brief spell of one-touch passing in the Udinese penalty area, the captain finally smashes his shot into the roof of the net!
The linesman originally flags for offside as Cutrone appeared to receive the pass ahead of the last defender, but VAR clears up the question marks and awards the goal! Incredible!
Match Report
Alessio Romagnoli scored a last-gasp winner for the second match in succession as AC Milan snatched a dramatic late 1-0 victory at 10-man Udinese on Sunday.
The captain incredibly rifled home in the seventh minute of added time to repeat his heroics of Wednesday's 2-1 defeat of Genoa and give the Rossoneri a third straight Serie A triumph.
Gennaro Gattuso's men had seemed certain to settle for a disappointing scoreless draw against the out-of-form hosts, but Bram Nuytinck's 95th-minute dismissal for a cynical foul on Samu Castillejo lit the spark for a frantic finale.
Romagnoli's composed finish ensured Milan will take momentum into next Sunday's date with leaders Juventus, though Gonzalo Higuain is a doubt after sustaining a back problem in the first half.

Feel sorry for Milan, Struggling against a team like Udinese who haven't been great since Di Natale. I really feel sorry for Gattuso when I look at what he has to work with. Apart from Suso and Romagnoli, everyone else is either average or past it. Higuain has gone awful now. Perhaps he was being carried by the brilliance of the Napoli and Juve playmakers...

Romagnoliii that's all I have to say . Il Capitano . Last week against Genoa now against Udinese . He made the beautiful clean tackle to get the ball and made the a kn anazing finish to win the game. Not only that but we got a clean sheet . Amazing week for me, with Venicious Jr. playing amazing and Romagnoli turning into Sergio Ramos in the 90+ minutes for Halloween .

I don’t think you watch Milan play at all saying Higuian us awful and underating Kessie is really funny, then again,I don’t think you watch Milan Ricardo Rodriguez can stand with the best of them at LB too
Forgot Kessie he somewhat got some potential, Rodriguez is ok but not the world beater your sounding him out to be, seen him at Wolfsburg and even milan at times, he's alright but nothing to fawn over. Higuain went from this prolific goal scorer to barely scoring, hes been awful. He's the one that's meant to step up in these games when Milan are struggling, not Romagnoli...
