Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that goalkeeper Andriy Lunin will not be going anywhere between now and the end of the transfer window. What happens beyond that remains shrouded in uncertainty.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper had agreed to a long-term deal to renew his contract in April, but when it came time to sign the contract, Los Blancos did not receive a response from Lunin or his agent Jorge Mendes. With just a year left on his deal this summer, it looked as if Real Madrid may try to cash in on him, giving he can sign a new deal in less than six months time with other clubs.
However Matteo Moretto has told Football España that Real Madrid are yet to throw in the towel with Lunin. They will again look to open talks with Mendes and the Ukrainian goalkeeper, and commit him to a new deal. They are desperate not to lose Lunin for free next summer, hence they will move for a new contract in spite of the cold shoulder.

Just let him leave, he will never have the quality to be an undisputed starter at Madrid. He even lost the number one spot in his national team to a goalkeeper i never heard before until then. He was a good cover up keeper nothing more. We wish him luck an let him leave for free, he has earned that
