In the clash between Sheffield United and Man City, Chris Basham clumsily tripped Riyad Mahrez but Henderson saved Jesus’s spot-kick, the seventh of 13 penalties he has kept out in his senior career.
Henderson’s heroics had, at least until Aguero entered the fray, frustrated the champions. The former England under-21 goalkeeper, on loan from City’s bitter rivals Manchester United, saved a penalty from Gabriel Jesus during a first half when he also made excellent stops to deny Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Otamendi.
Dean Henderson has saved 7 of the last 10 penalties he has faced, should he come back to Man Utd and replace De Gea?

DDG doesn’t command the six yard area let alone the 18 yd box. Great shot stopper particularly with his legs but I said last summer I would have sold him and given Henderson a chance. The money can be spent elsewhere
