Bobby Charlton
Bobby Charlton is regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time and the greatest player in England football. He scored 49 goals in his 106 caps for England with winning the World Cup and Ballon d'Or in 1966.
Geoff Hurst
Hurst scored 24 goals in 49 England appearances while remaining the only man to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final.
Bobby Moore
As the hero of this famous photo, Bobby Moore is widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of all time with 108 caps for England.
Ray Wilson
Ray Wilson was a member of the England team that won the 1966 World Cup with 63 caps in his national career.
Alan Shearer
Shearer scored 283 league goals in his career with a record 11 Premier League hat-tricks. In the international level, he appeared 63 times for his country and scored 30 goals.
Gary Lineker
Regarded as one of the all-time best English strikers, Lineker scored 48 goals in his 80 caps for England and received the Golden Boot in the 1986 World Cup. He was honoured in 1990 with the FIFA Fair Play Award for never receiving a yellow or red card in his career.
Bryan Robson
Robson is known by the nicknames "Robbo" and "Captain Marvel" as he captained his country 65 times in his career. He was also voted as the greatest ever Man United player from a poll of former Man United players in 2011.
Billy Wright
Billy Wright made a total of 105 appearances for England with captaining them a record 90 times, including during their campaigns at the 1950, 1954 and 1958 World Cup finals.
Gordon Banks
Regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, the IFFHS named Banks the second-best goalkeeper of the 20th century – after Lev Yashin (1st) and ahead of Dino Zoff (3rd). Banks won 73 caps for England and made one of the game's great saves to prevent a Pelé goal in the 1970 World Cup.
