Manchester United outcast Antonio Valencia is weighing up a two-year offer from an unnamed Major League Soccer club, according to his father.
The 33-year-old has made only five appearances in the Premier League during this campaign after struggling with injuries.
His contract is set to expire in the summer, and United are yet to nail him down to a new deal.
That has increased the likelihood of the cult hero leaving for free at the end of the season, and he has now received an offer.
While West Ham and Inter Milan have previously been linked with the reliable right-back, Luis Valencia has suggested a move to the MLS could be on the horizon.
Speaking to Ecuador radio station Area Deportiva , he said: "Antonio Valencia has an offer from an MLS team to sign for two seasons."
Earlier this month, Valencia's father's appeared to confirm that right-back will be off to pastures new at the end of the season, but he could yet remain in England.
Speaking to the media in Ecuador Luis said: "He will definitely not continue in Manchester. He wants a change in the air and the club is not going to renew [his contract] either. Like everything in life, everything comes to an end."
Valencia has been linked to a number of high-profile clubs, including Premier League teams, and Luis named a few that he feels may be possible destinations for his son.
" Arsenal , West Ham , Inter Milan and one club from China are options, but in football everything is changing," he said.
"He wants to choose the best option, but above all he wants to sign a contract for two years.
"Not for the money but for peace and hopefully, he told me, be hired by a team that fights for important things."
Valencia joined United from Wigan in 2009 for £16million and has made 338 appearances, winning two Premier League titles and one FA Cup.
