Valverde and Rubi demonstrate fair play at pre-derby photo

It's a tradition for the coaches of Barcelona and Espanyol to meet up in the build-up to the Catalan derby for a chat and a photo and Ernesto Valverde and Rubi did exactly that on Friday.

Valverde visited the RCDE Stadium, the home of his former club, to take part in the photo at around 14:00 CET.

After posing in front of the photographers, the pair walked away talking to each other, covering their mouths as they did so.

For both these coaches, this derby sees them take on a former employer, as Valverde was a player at Espanyol from 1986 to 1988 and their coach from 2006 to 2008, while Rubi joined Tito Vilanova's staff at the Camp Nou in 2013.
