Rafael van der Vaart has continued with his criticism of Harry Maguire - even with the England defender not playing.
The former Holland midfielder has previous when it comes to criticising the Manchester United defender - comparing him to Sunday League players in just one of his many Maguire-related outbursts.
This time Van der Vaart was on punditry duty covering the World Cup and somehow linked Germany's exit to Maguire.
Speaking on Dutch channel NOS, Van der Vaart said: 'Germany have a problem in defence.'
This seemed like a perfectly reasonable statement to make following Germany's exit from the World Cup group stage - for the second competition in a row.
However, the ex-Tottenham player then decided to continue with his Maguire rampage.
Van der Vaart said: 'Niklas Sule is not world-class. He is the German Harry Maguire.'
Although, in comparison to Van der Vaart's previous criticism of the 29-year-old, this was just a lighthearted jab.
Speaking previously on Ziggo Sport, the 39-year-old pundit once said: 'If I am going to play with the amateurs on Sunday afternoon, I can easily find three who can do this. I mean that seriously.
'I think he goes home everyday and says to his wife: 'I am so s*** but they keep paying me well. They really believe I'm good.'
Despite this criticism, Maguire has remained a key member of Gareth Southgate's England squad and will be crucial to the Three Lions' chances of World Cup success.
Maguire and England take on Senegal next in the World Cup round of 16 - hoping to book a place in the quarter-finals.
